the web
here is a collection of my fav sites
I'm a trans girl who realized I was trans a few years ago. I haven't started hrt yet and don't know if I will. I help run a transfem support group in my city, and a lot of these resources are things I heard about there, in discord groups, on reddit, etc!
Pronoun Dressing Room - a super fun tool for trying on pronouns! such a lovely idea
Trans Reads - an amazing free online library of trans lit - pdfs of books, journal articles, zines, etc.
Transfem Science - the authors of this site keep up with published science about transfem medical care. I have found this site is not the best place to *start* learning about hrt, but I'm super grateful for it in the moments when I want to get into the research/data/details for myself. the more I learn from other trans people the more amazed I am at the level of expertise some of us develop in this area of the medical field. we're powerful (and we can't trust doctors)
DIY HRT Wiki - a very informative and to-the-point site about hrt, especially the logistics, cost, risks of specific medications, etc.
DIY HRT Cafe - "a website created to provide information for how to safely obtain HRT for trans people who cannot access prescriptions for various reasons." it's unclear to me if or how this site is related to the previous one, but it provides valuable options.
